Portrait of Dr. Brian Marino

FOUNDER

Dr. Brian Marino

  • Rutgers College, BA Biology with honors
  • Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, Dean's Scholar
  • General Practice Residency, Hackensack University Medical Center
  • American Dental Association
  • New Jersey Dental Association

Dr. Marino began his career the long way around, working alongside established practitioners before opening a practice of his own. He founded Pequannock Valley Dental Associates in 2007 and has spent the years since building a group of New Jersey offices that share one standard of care. He practices general, cosmetic and implant dentistry, and he still does the majority of his own surgical and restorative work rather than sending it elsewhere.

He has continued his implant education through Minec America in Irving, Texas, along with surgical and prosthetic implant training in the Dominican Republic. That continued education is what allows planning, placement and the final restoration to stay in one building, with one person accountable for how the case turns out.

He lives in Wyckoff with his wife Kristen and their three children, James, Elizabeth and Madelyn, along with their Golden Retriever, Ryder. He is an avid fly fisherman and outdoorsman, and most of his time away from the practice is spent somewhere with moving water nearby.

GENERAL DENTISTRY

Dr. Anthony Nguyen

  • FLAG PLACEHOLDER, undergraduate institution and degree
  • FLAG PLACEHOLDER, dental school and graduation year
  • FLAG PLACEHOLDER, residency or advanced training
  • FLAG PLACEHOLDER, professional memberships

Dr. Nguyen is a general dentist whose focus is long term dental health rather than one appointment at a time. He is interested in the arc of a mouth over decades: what is holding, what is quietly changing, and what a patient can do now to avoid a larger conversation later.

He explains things plainly and without pressure. Patients who have avoided dentistry for a while tend to settle quickly with him, largely because he treats the backlog as a plan rather than a verdict.

He brings an easy, lighthearted presence to the team, which matters more than people expect on a busy morning. FLAG PLACEHOLDER, replace this paragraph with personal detail supplied by the practice.

GENERAL DENTISTRY

Dr. Fontenot

  • FLAG PLACEHOLDER, undergraduate institution and degree
  • FLAG PLACEHOLDER, dental school and graduation year
  • FLAG PLACEHOLDER, residency or advanced training
  • FLAG PLACEHOLDER, professional memberships

Dr. Fontenot takes a thorough, thoughtful approach to patient care. She works slowly through an examination, notes the small things, and would rather ask a second question than assume the answer.

Her chair time reflects that. Treatment is discussed before it is scheduled, options are laid out in order of what they solve, and nothing is presented as urgent unless it is.

Outside the practice her interests include traveling, running and golf. FLAG PLACEHOLDER, confirm personal detail with the practice before launch.
